Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Cook turkey sausage, chopped onion, and minced garlic in a skillet over medium heat until the sausage is browned and onions are translucent.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs and whole milk until smooth. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Spread bread cubes in the prepared dish. Sprinkle cooked sausage mixture and cheddar cheese over the top. Pour the egg mixture slowly, pressing gently to soak the bread.
- Bake at 350°F for 35–40 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before serving.
