Making the Dish
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss broccoli florets in olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli on the prepared sheet in a single layer, cut-side down.
- Roast the broccoli for 20 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan and lemon zest over the hot broccoli.
- Return the sheet to the oven for 2–3 minutes until the Parmesan melts.
Notes
Garnish with red pepper flakes for mild heat. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
