For the Fudge Base
- Lightly grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving a couple of inches overhang.
- Heat chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Remove pan from heat, stir in vanilla extract until fully combined, then let cool slightly for about 2 minutes.
For the Rocky Road Mix-ins
- Gently fold mini marshmallows and chopped toasted walnuts into the warm chocolate base.
- Immediately pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and smooth the top, then chill until firm, about 2 hours.
- Optional: Sprinkle sea salt flakes on top before chilling.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months. Let sit at room temperature to soften if necessary.
