Preparation
- Peel and chop one ripe mango and one banana into chunks.
- Add mango, banana, 1 cup coconut milk, a squeeze of lime juice, and a pinch of fresh ginger to the blender.
- Pulse on high for 45-60 seconds until silky smooth.
- Taste the mixture and add honey or maple syrup if needed, then blend for an additional 10 seconds.
- For an extra-cold treat, toss in ice cubes and blend for 30 more seconds.
- Pour into tall glasses and top with chia seeds or toasted coconut flakes.
Notes
Optional: Add a mint sprig for a bright, aromatic finish. Store any leftover smoothie in the fridge for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
