Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fry
  • 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak thinly sliced
  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets choose bright green, firm stalks
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for stir-frying
For the Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or honey
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for finishing
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes for heat
  • 2 tablespoons green onions sliced, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toast for topping

Method
 

Make the Sauce
  1. Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, water, and cornstarch in a bowl until smooth. Set aside for later.
For the Stir-Fry
  1. Warm vegetable oil in a large wok over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 1 minute.
  2. Add beef slices in a single layer and cook without moving for 1–2 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. Push beef to one side, add broccoli florets, then stir-fry 2–3 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and broccoli, stir continuously for 1–2 minutes until glossy.
  5. Remove from heat, drizzle sesame oil, toss gently, and let rest one minute before serving.

Notes

Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Make sure to slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
