Make the Sauce
- Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, water, and cornstarch in a bowl until smooth. Set aside for later.
For the Stir-Fry
- Warm vegetable oil in a large wok over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 1 minute.
- Add beef slices in a single layer and cook without moving for 1–2 minutes on each side until browned.
- Push beef to one side, add broccoli florets, then stir-fry 2–3 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender.
- Pour the prepared sauce over the beef and broccoli, stir continuously for 1–2 minutes until glossy.
- Remove from heat, drizzle sesame oil, toss gently, and let rest one minute before serving.
Notes
Optional: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions. Make sure to slice beef thinly against the grain for tenderness.
