Preparation and Baking
- Preheat oven to 350°F and butter a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- Combine pears, cranberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a large bowl.
- Transfer the fruit filling into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Toss rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cut cold butter into the dry ingredients until pea-sized crumbs form.
- Sprinkle the oat crumble over the fruit layer.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until the topping is golden and filling bubbles.
- Cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before serving.
