Making the Brownies
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

- Melt unsalted butter with granulated sugar until smooth and glossy, about 1–2 minutes.

- Stir in unsweetened cocoa powder until no lumps remain.

- Whisk in eggs one at a time, then blend in pure vanilla extract.

- Fold in all-purpose flour and salt until just combined.

- If desired, stir in chocolate chips or chopped nuts.

- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 20–25 minutes.

- Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares.

Notes
Optional: Sprinkle flaky sea salt on warm brownies for a sweet-salty finish.
